It’s a Nice Day for a White Wedding
There can be as little money spent and time planning your 2017 wedding day as you want, but if you are going for something a little more traditional, chances are you will have a lot more time, energy, and money spent on all the preparations. Here is a few ideas to get you started on your wedding checklist that can include as little or as much extravagance as you want.
Ask Her to Marry You!
The proposal is where any wedding begins. Make sure that you plan something special and choose the most beautiful ring you can afford. Taking her to the place that you first met and presenting her with a rock that she cannot believe the size of will eliminate any chances that she will say no. Once the decision has been made, there is a wedding day to plan.
Start Making a Plan
Collect any pictures from magazines or ideas and keep them together in a folder. Try to get an estimate of what your budget will be for the whole wedding so you can plan accordingly. It would be a good idea to start a running tab and keep an eye on how much you have left. It can be easy to overspend and you do not need to be in debt any more than you have to.
How Big of a Venue?
Picking the size of the wedding will come as you finish the guest list. You will also have to pick your wedding party. Where the wedding will be can be one of the most important decisions you have to make. Pick somewhere that can hold all the people that are invited and see that they have adequate parking for your party.
Your wedding checklist should include hiring a photographer, a band or DJ, a florist, and decide about catering. You can choose to have and engagement party, bachelor, or bachelorette party if you and your friends have the time in you busy lives to go enjoy them. Getting a dress and deciding what the dress code will be for those that attend can become an expensive endeavor, but the pictures and videos you get from everyone matching sure will make it look a lot more classy.
After the Ceremony
Make sure that your out of town guests have somewhere to stay, especially if there will be drinking involved. Transportation for your guests and a limo for yourself is a good choice if you do not want to have the responsibility of driving on any of the guests. Make sure you have great music for the reception and that your entertainment’s set-up is big enough for the space.
Well, last, plan the honeymoon. It is finally over and you have the rest of your lives together. So many great memories will be made on that day and it would be a horrible mistake to have your lack of planning cause stress and drama on what is supposed to be the best day of your lives.
